Approach the wake with a controlled progressive edge with your weight even
on both feet. You don't need a super hard cut at the wake for this trick.
|

|
As
soon as you pop off the wake begin your spin by letting go of the rope with
your back hand and pulling the handle to the small of your back. Turn your
head and shoulders away from the boat towards the direction the boat is
coming from. |

|
While in the middle of the air, pass the handle in the small of your back or
behind your legs. Keep your shoulders over the board and lean away from the
boat like the rider in the photo here. This keeps you on balance so you
don't faceplant when you come around. |

|
After making the handle pass, finish the spin by pulling the handle in to
the middle of your body and spot your landing. For balance you may want to
pass the handle to your front hand again when landing. |
